I noticed that the old grill that the wren's nest is housed in is rusted very badly and especially where it secures to the pedestal. The mounting has become loose and now the grill can rock back and forth in the wind. It looks like it could tear loose which would cause the entire grill to fall to the ground. Don't want to sound too alarming, but I am concerned about this possibly happening.

Idea I have an idea so the grill not falls down!
The idea is, that you bundle some rope / cord / strings in the grill bound it into the ground, or in something that is strong like a tree for example, and standing up. Then I think the grill not fall. And use tree brown if you have it, becuse blue, red, silver or yellow= very visible, but tree brown = almost invisible for birds( I think Question )

Temperatures are dropping fast.
Those eggs can't survive long without her.
I think something has happened to her.

I wonder how long ago was the last sighting of her?

4 a.m. here, still no sign of momma wren when I looked. This doesn't look too good for the eggs.

6:57 AM here.
6:00 AM Cam-Time.

Usually, she's on the nest about this time, snuggling with her eggs as I ready for school. But I haven't seen her, either. Sad

I've compared the two pictures. They basically look the same - Lighting and all. The eggs don't appear to have turned, nor the nest changed in any ways ... They look exactly alike.

But what about the Father Wren? What would he be doing?

6:36 am camera time.
She is not there.
One of the tweets on twitter had her gone 7 minutes which might be typical for the day time. But they don't leave them at night except to perhaps hop off the nest for a minute or two if someone gets too close.
The father has been bringing food to her.
I am guessing he doesn't sit on the nest?

This is not good.
Something has happened to her.
Keep checking on her this morning to see if she is seen on the nest.
