This one is the solar powered bluebird house.
And it has a bluebird nest in it and 3 eggs.
Watch here.

Whoo-hoo! The eggs are so perfect looking. Maybe I will get to see them hatch.

There was no female on the nest last night generating some concern.
Here is a possible explanation. We will have to wait and see if things are OK.

Female probably will not start spending the night in the box until all the eggs are laid to cycle the incubation Egg laying....5-7 days. Depending on number of eggs. Eggs are usually laid one per day, generally early in the morning.

Oh dear. Will the eggs be ok in a frozen like state until incubation begins or will they just slowly die if the female does not get her act up together?

Might be worth looking this up. One source told me it synchronizes the incubation to start sitting later?
