Were gonna have to wait and see if the birds come back to figure out what species they are. I hope they come back, it looks like the nest hasnt changed a bit since yesterday.

Very Happy

I saw them on the outside of the box once (didn't get a good look at them), but not inside. I don't know what is going on.
They might be done with building the nest and just waiting to lay the eggs.
I don't know yet. Keep an eye out. I hope they haven't abandoned this nest.

I did have to open the birdhouse to put the camera back in.
But no one was home when I did and I worked as fast as I could.
The camera is flat right on/ along the the top lid.
It fits inside of a Velcro webbing which was already there.
It doesn't stick out much at all.
Hopefully, if everything stays quiet they will come back.

I don't think it is done either. But I don't know for sure. We haven't had a chance yet to figure out what kind of bird this is. I have a suspicion about it because there is another bird house where a birds are building a nest and it is the same kind of stick nest as this. The person who spotted the stick nest building birds in the other birdhouse said they were house wrens. Maybe someone could look up house wrens and see if this looks right?

This house sat empty for 2 years and now all of the sudden 2 different kinds of birds are building nests in there. Go figure ...

I found a nest of Finches (I they were Finches) about 10 minutes ago outside by my garage. They're little yellow birds, and they were flying really fast. They're cute. Very Happy Didn't see their nest though...
